This term we have celebrated an array of activities, special days and events. Highlighting special days are important to our school community as we are educating our students and making them aware of worldly issues. Events are advertised in advance through internal display boards and also ClassDojo posters. Events are celebrated and recognised afterwards too, through updating displays with pupil voice quotes on what they have enjoyed
about the day or week.
Our termly Newton News school newspaper summarises and showcases the fun and engaging events that we host throughout the term. We have many exciting articles to look forward to such as: The undercover heroes of Newton, Parent articles, No more ZOOM, and diversity at NBA.
During Term 1, as a whole school we have celebrated many fun and exciting initiatives, Literacy week, Breast Cancer Awareness Day, Wellbeing week for the students and the staff, Science Day and Art Competition about Environmental Awareness and the School Values and others. We have promoted this on our Social Media platforms, Class Dojo, and Fusion platform to celebrate our successes as a school.
