Dr. Mark van de Logt, an expert in Native American, U.S. Military, Gilded Age, American West, and Mexican history, has been a faculty member at Texas A&M University at Qatar since 2012. He is the author of ‘War Party in Blue: Pawnee Scouts in the United States Army’ (2010) and ‘Monsters of Contact: Historical Trauma in Caddoan Oral Traditions’ (2018), with another book titled ‘Between the Floods: A New History of the Sahnish (Arikara) Indians’ on the way. His articles on American Indian and U.S. military history have been featured in prestigious journals. Dr. van de Logt shares his expertise by teaching U.S. History and Native American courses at TAMUQ.
