We are delighted to announce that Ms. Melek Medbou, author of “The Little One That Came to Stay: A Tale of Two Tots”, will be visiting our school during Book Week!
Melek Medbou is a passionate children’s author from Dublin, Ireland. Her books highlight the beauty of friendship, the deep bonds between siblings, the strength of family, and the joys of childhood. Through her stories, Melek aims to inspire connection, kindness, and understanding in young readers.
When she’s not writing, Melek enjoys traveling to new places, exploring different cultures, capturing special moments through photography, and expressing herself through art

Author visits are a wonderful opportunity to spark a love for reading in our students. By meeting a real author, students gain insight into the creative process and develop a deeper appreciation for the magic of storytelling.
These special moments inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong connection to books. When students realize that authors are real people who bring stories to life, it motivates them to read more—and even imagine becoming storytellers themselves!
We look forward to welcoming Ms. Melek and sharing this joyful experience with our school community.
