At NIA Lusail, we celebrated World Mental Health Day with our vibrant Hello Yellow event, focusing on positivity, kindness, and the importance of taking care of our mental wellbeing. The school was filled with smiles and a cheerful sea of yellow as students and staff came together to raise awareness and show their support for mental health.
Throughout the day, students took part in a variety of engaging activities that encouraged reflection, connection, and fun. In the Primary, children gathered in the sports hall for a lively whole-school workout with their teachers, promoting the importance of movement, exercise, and joy as part of self-care. Laughter and energy filled the hall as everyone joined in together.
Meanwhile, Secondary students participated in thoughtful discussions and classroom activities focused on understanding emotions, supporting one another, and recognising the importance of speaking openly about mental health. The sessions created a safe and supportive space where students could share ideas and learn practical ways to maintain balance and wellbeing.
The day was a wonderful reminder that kindness, empathy, and togetherness make a difference, and at NIA Lusail, no one is ever alone.
