In our first edition of the Celebration Station, we’d like to celebrate our new Deputy Head Boy, Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Hor, Year 12, who is a horse-racing champion! He walks amongst us in the corridors during the week but on the weekend, he is zooming to the finish line on horseback.

Mohammed advised us that in life you should try your best at whatever you want to do. He told us about how we can be whatever we want in this life and that our biggest obstacle will always be ourselves. On the horse, he says, he forgets about everyone else. It’s just him and his horse and this mentality has helped him do amazing in big races.

He has since won numerous tournaments and has even met the Emir as a result! He is our horse-racing champion and deserves to be celebrated! If you see him in the corridors, then be sure to congratulate him. Hopefully, he continues to win many more races and do us proud!
