Matilda by Roald Dahl

Once you start reading this book, you will not want to put it down as it is filled with humor, adventure, and mystery.

This is an amazing story about a little girl who will not allow circumstances to stand in her way of achieving a good education. Matilda loves to read and is encouraged by her teacher Miss Honey who is helpful and kind. Matilda establishes a lovely, warm relationship with her teacher who supports her in everything that she does.

Matilda plays many pranks on her father and Miss Trunchball. A favorite part is when Matilda applies superglue to her father’s hat; when he wanted to take his hat off, he could not, and this caused a great scene in a restaurant.

In some ways, the book is sad but in the end it has a happy ending with love and kindness.

I strongly recommend that you read this beautiful, heart-warming book
