I recommend Inky the Octopus because it’s a thrilling, rhyming adventure based on the amazing true story of a real-life aquarium escape! It is the perfect book to show Year 1 how curiosity and a “squishy” bit of bravery can lead to the biggest adventures in the deep blue sea.
