Promoting Reading Through QNL School Engagement, Inspiring Young Readers
NIA-Lusail Library was delighted to welcome Mr. Talal M. Al-Kurdi , a representative from Qatar National Library (QNL), as part of our ongoing collaboration to promote reading and library engagement among students.
Mr. Talal conducted two interactive sessions, one for Primary students on the 4th of February 2026 and one for Secondary students 20th of January 2026. The sessions were highly engaging, and students showed great enthusiasm throughout. They were introduced to QNL’s wide range of digital and physical resources, including e-books, databases, and learning platforms available to all QNL members.
Students expressed strong interest in becoming QNL members, reflecting the positive impact of the sessions and their growing motivation to explore reading beyond the school library. The visit successfully strengthened students’ awareness of national library services and encouraged independent learning and research skills.
We sincerely thank Qatar National Library and Mr. Talal for their continued partnership and support in inspiring young readers and nurturing a lifelong love of learning.
