Astronomy Expert at Qatar Calendar House
In collaboration with Qatar Calendar House and Qatar National Library,
NIA–Lusail proudly hosted the “Make Your Own Astrolabe” workshop, where students explored the wonders of basic astronomy through a hands-on and interactive experience.
During the workshop, students designed and created their own astrolabes by themselves, combining creativity with scientific thinking while learning through practical application.
The session sparked curiosity and enthusiasm among students, inspiring young minds and deepening their understanding of the stars. The experience was enjoyable, engaging, and highly appreciated by all participating students.
