The Libraries Department at Newton Group of Schools commemorates the passing of Dr. Jabr Al-Noaimi, Chairman of the Board, by honouring his academic and literary legacy.

The department has organised a variety of activities across Newton campuses using Dr. Jabr’s books, including reading sessions led by Mr. Osama Al-Amrity, Head of the Arabic Department, Also, the Arabic team across all Newton schools. Additionally, secondary students are translating his books into English, and senior students are reading to primary students, among many other engaging activities.

His passion for instilling a love of curiosity and learning remains an inspiration to all of  us, and we remain committed to continuing his legacy.

Dr. Jabr was dedicated to personally reading his stories to students across Newton’s libraries,   and was stimulating and encouraging their critical thinking and opening new horizons of creativity, Students honour his memory by reading his books across Newton’s libraries
