Author Visit: Ms. Kayla Diamond

We are delighted to share that our recent author visit from Ms. Kayla Diamond was a huge success! Renowned author Ms. Kayla Diamond joined us across our Newton’s School Libraries to read from her captivating books, Glow, The Jellyfish Jiggle, and Little Kite’s Magic Flight.

Our students had an incredible time listening to the stories and engaging with Ms. Diamond, who shared insights about her writing journey and the inspiration behind her wonderful books. The event sparked excitement and creativity, with students actively participating and asking insightful questions.

Author visits are an incredible opportunity to ignite a passion for reading among our students. By connecting directly with authors, students not only gain a deeper understanding of the creative process but also develop a greater appreciation for the power of storytelling. These events inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lasting love for books that goes beyond the classroom. When students see authors as real people who bring stories to life, it encourages them to explore new worlds through reading and fuels their own imaginations.
