The BFG was the first novel I ever read in class that made me want to read more books by the same author, Roald Dahl, because the story was so imaginative and exciting. It follows Sophie and the Big Friendly Giant as they work together to stop the nasty giants, sharing lots of funny words, brave moments, and heart-warming friendship along the way. Reflecting on the book now, many years later, it’s heartening to think about how small acts of kindness and courage can make a big difference in someone’s life on any given day.
