If you think a book needs pictures to be funny, this story will prove you wrong! The author cleverly includes invented and playful vocabulary, which creates lots of laughter. These made-up expressions sound so silly that the reader often ends up using funny voices, even without even meaning to!
I highly recommend The Book With No Pictures for Key Stage One and lower Key Stage Two readers. It is the perfect book for story time that shows how powerful words alone can be.
This book is thoroughly entertaining and full of personality.“
