Hello everyone, it is our honour and privilege to represent NIA as your deputy head boys for this
academic year.
During my time at NIA, I, Titus Sathiasuthan, have been involved in many of the sports in the
school including basketball, volleyball, athletics, and many more. Through participating in these
sports I have developed important skills such as teamwork, communication, leadership and
handling pressure. I believe the experience I have gained through sports will help me become a
responsible and approachable deputy head boy who can work well with both students and
teachers.
Meanwhile I, Divan Oberholzer, have been involved in the leadership role throughout
my time in NIA, being the Head Boy last year and successfully completed my duties as well as
helping teachers and students to make school a better place. I have represented Qatar in the
international stage in rugby which would help me in my role to adapt, to lead and to inspire my
juniors to be the best students they can.
Finally, I, Hrithish Ganesh, have been involved in many
debate competitions, leading my team to the national top 16 three times as team leader.
Through my participation in debate, I have cultivated strong communication, critical-thinking
skills, and the ability to lead my team to success. With my experience, I believe I have the
necessary skills to be a reliable Deputy Head Boy who listens to other people’s ideas and works
well with my peers.
