It’s been another busy and exciting week in KS1! Year 1 have been developing their addition and subtraction skills using counters to help them solve problems in practical ways. Year 2 have been exploring habitats through hands-on lessons, including investigations and creative activities using tuft trays to discover where different animals live. Year 3 enjoyed their Stone Age Day, where they built a Stone Age hut and created striking handprint art using chalk—just like early cave painters! They also had great fun recreating the layers of soil using different foods to help them understand the structure of the Earth beneath our feet.
