Animal shelters depend entirely on donations and community support. Operating a shelter is an act of love that demands an enormous amount of dedication, time and energy. Through involvement with the shelters, our students have gained the rewards and feelings of accomplishment that come with aiding animals. NIA students have helped fundraise for QAWS (Qatar Animal Welfare Society). The shelter has been hit by a storm and suffered damage. Volunteers have organized a bake sale. They
sold muffins, pizza, jus and cake and raised 2500 riyals to help rescue the animals and buy new enclosures. Well done!
