A message from Senior Head Boy and Head Girl

I am greatly honoured to be titled as NIA’s Head Girl of 2024-2025 and look forward to working closely with an incredible prefect team to represent our school. This year, our leadership team consists of over 160 dedicated students, who I am excited and proud to lead alongside the leadership team. We have also had multiple improvements and changes, including the six committees that provides all students and prefects an opportunity to volunteer in their desired activity. The student leadership team has already had a great start organising several events such as Anti-Bullying week, Breast Cancer Awareness and Basketball house competitions. I am also thrilled to be working as the head of mental well being committee this year, where we have started setting up a Safe Space box for students and organising buddy programs. I am grateful to the school for trusting our team with this responsibility and hope to leave behind a meaningful impact on the school. I hope to be an asset to our hard-working team and I wish that all our fellow students and staff have a productive year ahead and build memorable memories

to cherish! Yours truly,

Noor Ibrahim Head Girl

Hello, my name is Seif Abouseif, and I am proud to serve as the Head Boy of Newton International Academy and as the Head of the Mental Wellbeing Committee. I believe that leadership is not just about responsibility; it’s about inspiring those around us and creating a positive environment where everyone feels heard and supported. As Head of the Mental Wellbeing Committee, my aim is to ensure that every student knows they are not alone. Mental health is a vital part of our lives, and it’s essential that we create a space where everyone feels safe to express their emotions and seek support when needed. I am committed to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and fostering a culture of openness and compassion at our school. Together, we can make a difference, not just in academic achievements, but in how we care for one another. We can build a stronger community where empathy, understanding, and kindness are at the heart of everything we do.
